Nonprofits

Software for nonprofits that your team can actually run.

Donor data, grant reporting, and the operations underneath them. Built by a senior team and handed over so your staff can actually run it.

The short version

We build what nonprofits actually run on: donor data, grant reporting, and the integrations that hold them together. The person you talk to is the person who builds it. For SIREN, that meant 17,500 records in one place and no more double entry.

Your constraints

We already know most of this about your organization.

It's true of nearly every nonprofit we've worked with. If we're wrong about yours, that's a good first conversation.

One person is wearing five hats

Whoever's evaluating this probably also runs the database, the email tool, and the annual report. You don't need another system to administer. You need something off the pile.

The donor data lives in four places

A CRM, a mail tool, an events platform, and the spreadsheet that's the real source of truth. Nobody trusts the totals, so every board report starts with a reconciliation.

Grant reporting eats weeks you don't have

Each funder wants a different cut of the same data, assembled by hand, on their deadline. Almost none of it is thinking.

The budget is restricted and scrutinized

Money spent on software is money visibly not spent on program. That's a fair standard, and it means scope has to be honest in the first conversation, not discovered in month three.

You hold data about people at risk

Immigration status, health conditions, housing, minors. A breach here endangers the people who trusted you. Privacy is a design constraint, not a checkbox at the end.

Institutional knowledge walks out the door

Turnover means the person who knew how the system worked is gone, and the documentation was in their head. Anything we build has to survive that.

Capabilities

What we build for nonprofits.

The work we do most often. If yours isn't here, still worth asking.

Donor and constituent data consolidation

Supporters, volunteers, participants, and donors out of four systems and into one record you can trust. Includes the migration and validation, not just the architecture.

Grant and impact reporting

Reporting that assembles itself from data you already collect, cut per funder. A report becomes a review-and-send, not a two-week project.

Program operations tooling

Intake, case management, scheduling, and service tracking built around how your programs run, instead of bending them around someone else's product.

Integrations that end double-entry

Connecting the CRM, the email platform, and the giving tool so a change in one place shows up everywhere without anyone retyping it.

Privacy-first data handling

Access controls, retention rules, and data minimization designed in from the start, for organizations holding sensitive information about vulnerable people.

AI where it earns its place

Drafting, summarizing, and triage aimed at the bottlenecks actually eating staff hours. We'll also tell you when AI is the wrong tool, which is often.

Common questions

Questions nonprofits ask us first.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no, and we'll tell you which before you spend anything. Custom software earns its cost when an off-the-shelf product would need so much configuration and workaround that you're building anyway, or when the manual work it replaces costs more staff hours than the build costs in dollars. When a $50-a-month tool would solve your problem, we say so and point you at it. We scope to a defined budget rather than open-ended hours, so the number you approve is the number.

Let’s talk

Let’s build something that matters

Tell us what you’re working on. One founder-led engagement from start to finish, where strategy, build, and launch are handled by the same person who takes your first call. Something working in weeks, not quarters.
