SIREN is a leading non-profit empowering immigrant communities in the San Francisco Bay Area through legal services, policy advocacy, and community education. With a growing donor base and expanding programs, they needed a technology foundation that could scale with their mission.

The Challenge

SIREN, a leading non-profit empowering immigrant communities, was hampered by a fragmented data ecosystem. Critical data was spread across multiple platforms like NationBuilder and Mailchimp, leading to data silos, manual data entry, and an incomplete view of their donors and community members. This fragmentation hindered their ability to effectively engage with their supporters and measure their impact.

Staff spent hours each week reconciling records across systems, and leadership lacked confidence in their reporting. As SIREN's programs expanded, the problem was compounding. Every new campaign meant more disconnected data.

Our Approach

We began with a deep discovery phase, mapping every data source, workflow, and integration point across SIREN's technology stack. From there, we designed a CRM-centered architecture that would serve as the single source of truth.

Our implementation followed three phases: First, we configured the CRM with custom objects for donor and opportunity tracking tailored to SIREN's programs. Second, we executed the complete migration of over 17,500 records from NationBuilder and Mailchimp, with rigorous validation at every step. Third, we built automated integrations between their marketing and donor systems to eliminate manual data entry permanently.

Throughout the process, we worked closely with SIREN's team, providing comprehensive documentation and hands-on training to ensure they could manage and evolve their new system independently.
