Rilo Labs is a founder-led product and software consultancy for mission-driven organizations. Every project is scoped, built, and shipped by the same person from first conversation to final launch.
Why we started
Two decades watching every wave of technology reach the same organizations first, and the same ones last.
Before Rilo Labs, there were two decades inside Fortune 500 companies. When AI began to fundamentally change what a small, focused team could build, the question stopped being theoretical.
Nonprofits stretch every dollar and often run their entire technology stack with a team of one or two. Healthcare systems move slowly under layers of regulation, compliance, and legacy infrastructure that can’t simply be switched off. These organizations aren’t behind because they lack ambition. They’re behind because the expertise has always been concentrated elsewhere.
Rilo Labs exists to redirect that expertise. We took everything we learned building at enterprise scale and brought it to the organizations where the work actually matters.
